there is a balance i've grown accustomed to working to achieve; we can call this my struggle. i want to do the good work that satisfies my soul that being the teaching and learning bit, but this soul of mine is vast and cavernous and needs a lot more than the my day job can offer. so i set out to take on projects because it is, in some way, what i must do in order to settle my restlessness.
one of these projects is bound up in this postcard art collective that i am a part of. we make cards, send them to on another, and are supposed to receive them from one another...although i have yet to find a handmade message from yonder in my mailbox. we are all strangers. it's a great concept.
this is round 2. i drew a birch forest and a man with a beard.
